We are shocked to discover that we will be expected to adhere to changes in the voting system, and vote for a party not a person.  Why is this change needed?  What was wrong with choosing a person to represent us – a person whose history and experiences we would have explored before deciding that this would be the best person to make important decisions on our behalf. We feel strongly that this is a big mistake that could lead to a lot of unfairness and that proceeding with this decision will create ill feeling.  We hope that you will re-consider and retain the present system so that we can vote for a person and not for a party.
